Dish Network Satellite Dishes
Dish Network satellite dishes are usually 18″ to 20″ in size. Since they are relatively small, it is usually no problem to mount the satellite dishes on your rooftop, balcony, or even in your backyard. The standard Dish Network satellite dish can receive international and local channels as long as it has a clear view of the right part of the sky. When positioning a Dish Network satellite dish, you need to be careful to make sure there are no trees or structures in the line of sight of the satellite dish.
The Dish 300 was the first popular Dish Network satellite dish at 18″. Dish Network later came out with a newer model known as the Dish 500 which measures 20″. The Dish 500 can receive signals from two satellites simultaneously. One of the most recent Dish Network satellite dishes is the new SuperDISH that is a little larger at 36″ by 20″, and it can receive satellite signals from three satellite locations at the same time.
